The brief
The Marin Photographer Collective needed a website where visitors could find the right photographer by category—built within the constraints of Squarespace—plus a home for member resources and a simple way for the public to request a photographer or post a job.
The build
- Searchable by Category
- Within the constraints of Squarespace, I figured out how to make the site searchable, so visitors can browse photographers by category—portraits, weddings, family, brand and more.
- Branding & Logo
- I created the collective's brand and designed its logo.
- Copy & Design
- I wrote all of the copy and designed the site to let each photographer's work lead.
- Member Resources
- I added Buzz Cal to the members Resources page so everyone can see and add upcoming events.
- Requests & Job Posts
- Visitors can request a photographer or post an upcoming photography job right on the site.
